Essay Questions

Every year, we receive more applicants than we are able to accommodate at YHP. Applicants are primarily evaluated based on their responses to these essay questions. Please answer thoughtfully!

Travel Information

This year’s Youth Heritage Project will take place in Ellensburg, WA.

Drop-off. Our preservation field school begins the afternoon of Monday, July 13. There are two options for arriving to YHP. The Washington Trust offers a carpool leaving from Seattle. Alternatively, parents/guardians can drop their student off at our accommodations at Lazy F Camp and Retreat Center (16170 Manastash Rd, Ellensburg, WA 98926).

Pick-up. Pick-up will be the afternoon of Thursday, July 16. Parents/guardians can pick up their students from Ellensburg or students can take the Washington Trust’s carpool back to Seattle.

If travel is a potential barrier for you to attend YHP, we are able to assist. Let us know in the text box below so we can assist as early as possible.
