Join the Washington Trust and Save Tacoma’s Landmark Church for their first joint event: a “heartbomb” to show the love for Holy Rosary!

A heart bomb is a fun and creative way to bring people together and raise awareness about places that matter in a community. Bring any size of homemade valentine—a sort of love letter to Holy Rosary—and gather with us the Saturday after Valentine’s Day at noon for a big group photo . . . rain or shine!

You can make your own valentine to bring, join us for a “hearts and crafts” the Thursday before (info below), or just show up the day of and snag one of the extra valentines we’ll be bringing for the photo. The most important thing is that you join us!

  • 12:00pm – Meet at Holy Rosary
  • 12:15pm – Group photo
  • 12:30pm – The Rosary Prayer (for those who wish to stay)

RSVP on Facebook!

A few important points:

Hearts and crafts. Anyone who is interested can join us on Thursday, February 13 at 6:30pm at Bethlehem Lutheran (101 E 38th Street, Tacoma) for some group valentine crafting. We’ll bring the supplies and be making extra so everyone who attends the group photo Saturday afternoon can hold a valentine for the shot.

Stay on public property. The Archdiocese has expressly requested that advocacy/public events not be held anywhere on church property so we will be staging the photograph on city property. See the graphic below – the portions shaded in white are church property.

Parking is limited. Do not park in the the parking lots for the school or the church as that is private church property. There is limited street parking nearby, so please do your best to carpool or find other ways to get there.
