Public meeting about the Enchanted Valley Chalet

The National Park Service has released an environmental assessment about the future of the Enchanted Valley Chalet (EVC) which recommends that the building be dismantled and removed from the Valley. Olympic National Park staff are hosting a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, July 15, to share what they are planning, answer questions, and provide information about the process. The meeting can be joined using the link below starting at 4:45pm on July 15; the meeting will begin at 5:00pm and end at 6:30pm.

Comment deadline extended to August 31!

Attend the virtual public meeting this Wednesday to hear about all the factors that led Olympic National Park to recommend removing the EVC, and then submit your comments by August 31. Phone and email comments will not be accepted—comments will need to be submitted through the NPS project planning website or mailed to: Olympic National Park, Attn: Superintendent Sarah Creachbaum, Enchanted Valley Chalet EA, 600 East Park Avenue, Port Angeles, WA 98362.
