An 1889 historic summer home of Portland “Lumber Baron” Olaf B. Aagaard is available for free, either to be moved in its entirety or dismantled for salvage. The home is at 4517 NE 379th St, La Center, WA and has many original features intact.

The La Center sawmills provided a great share of the ties for the building of the railroad in the Northwest, and Olaf B. Aagaard owned and operated the West Highland and East Highland Mills.
